March 20, 2025
On March 1, 2025, at the 2nd Drying Industry Decision-Makers Spring Summit, hosted by Heat Pump Magazine and Green Drying News under the guidance of the China Energy Conservation Association’s Heat Pump Committee, Guangdong IKE Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as IKE) was recognized for its outstanding contributions to the heat pump drying industry. Leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions, IKE continues to drive advancements in sustainable drying practices. At this prestigious event, IKE was honored with two major industry awards:
"2025 Top 10 Landmark Projects in the Heat Pump Drying Industry"
"2025 Innovative Productivity Award in Heat Pump Drying"
These awards serve as a testament to IKE’s technological leadership, engineering excellence, and unwavering commitment to industry innovation, further solidifying its role as a key player in the global heat pump drying sector.
As a pioneer in heat pump drying technology, IKE has consistently placed technological innovation at the core of its operations. The company was among the first to develop and promote closed-loop dehumidification heat pump drying technology and remains a firm advocate of its adoption as the industry standard. With over a decade of continuous research and development, IKE has refined this technology, establishing itself as a leader in the field and earning the trust of distributors and end-users alike.
IKE holds over 100 patents and has played an instrumental role in drafting six national industry standards, contributing significantly to the standardization and widespread application of closed-loop heat pump drying solutions.
Heat pump drying is one of the most complex applications of heat pump technology, requiring precise control over temperature and humidity across a broad spectrum. The evaporator must function in environments ranging from sub-zero temperatures to 80°C, with humidity levels fluctuating between 1% and 99%, while the condenser must handle conditions between 0°C and 80°C. These extreme variations demand that compressors operate under significantly higher loads than traditional air conditioning units. Moreover, with a vast array of drying applications, extensive expertise and years of technical refinement are necessary to optimize performance.
Guided by the philosophy of "Quality Builds Trust, Innovation Drives Progress," IKE remains committed to delivering high-quality products and premium service, setting itself apart from low-cost competitors. Despite increasing market competition, IKE has strengthened its partnerships with distributors and customers through exceptional product performance, cutting-edge technology, and comprehensive after-sales support, ensuring long-term sustainable growth.
One of the primary obstacles in the agricultural drying sector is the high cost and infrequent usage of drying equipment. To address this, IKE has introduced flexible business models, including:
"Rent-to-own" leasing programs
Pure rental options
Shared-use drying solutions
By designing its equipment to be mobile, weather-resistant, and easily deployable, IKE enables plug-and-play operation, significantly reducing initial investment costs and transportation expenses.
Additionally, IKE’s mobile drying room solution integrates cleaning, drying, and packaging into a shared rental system, enhancing agricultural efficiency and farmer profitability. This "asset-light, highly flexible" model not only reduces financial strain on distributors but also creates new employment opportunities, accelerating the industry’s transition toward service-based and shared-economy solutions.
Through more than a decade of research and system refinement, IKE has fully optimized its drying technology, establishing a comprehensive standardized system. The company’s S-Series Universal Mobile Closed-Loop Heat Pump Drying System allows both distributors and users to set up and operate the system in less than 30 minutes.
This series features standardized designs for drying chambers, including:
Dimensions: 2m width × 2m height × 3–7m length
Material: Full stainless steel interior and exterior
Configurable components: Modular main units, trolleys, trays, airflow control, and pressure settings
With 12 main unit models and 5 chamber designs, the system offers up to 60 customizable configurations, accommodating 99% of agricultural drying applications.
The system’s universal compatibility, mobility, weatherproof construction, and compact design allow it to operate outdoors without dedicated infrastructure. It can be deployed directly in fields for on-site drying, supporting flat-drying, hanging, and stacking methods. Designed for easy transportation, universal tray and trolley compatibility, and high space utilization, the system is ideal for rental and shared-use applications.
Given the seasonal nature and fluctuating production volumes of agricultural products, demand for flexible drying solutions continues to grow. Leveraging 26 years of expertise in drying technology, IKE has developed a wireless monitoring and control system that allows distributors and users to remotely manage drying operations in real-time. Additionally, users can access free cloud-based drying process data to optimize efficiency. The system also supports WeChat Pay, enabling seamless rental transactions and further promoting the shared-use model in the drying industry.
A standout achievement in IKE’s portfolio is its "50-Ton Goji Berry Smart Drying Project in Bole, Xinjiang," which was recognized as one of the "2025 Top 10 Landmark Projects in the Heat Pump Drying Industry." Valued at approximately 8.6 million RMB, this project represents the largest single-client heat pump drying installation in the fruit and vegetable sector. IKE provided a complete drying solution, including heat pump drying units, drying chambers, conveyor systems, and auxiliary equipment, significantly enhancing the efficiency and quality of Xinjiang’s agricultural products.
Receiving the "2025 Innovative Productivity Award" further affirms IKE’s dedication to advancing sustainable drying technologies. Through standardized manufacturing, intelligent automation, and low-carbon operation, IKE is driving the transition of agricultural processing from traditional fossil-fuel reliance to clean energy solutions. This aligns with China’s "Dual Carbon" goals and agricultural modernization strategy, positioning IKE as a key player in accelerating the adoption of energy-efficient drying solutions for grains, fruits, vegetables, and herbal medicines.
Furthermore, IKE collaborates with South China Agricultural University, the Guangdong Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and other leading research institutions to develop industry-leading drying process curves for thousands of agricultural products. Through wireless remote monitoring and real-time process data support, IKE enhances the user experience and operational efficiency of its drying systems.
From its roots in precision telecommunications manufacturing to its leadership in heat pump drying solutions, IKE has demonstrated three decades of dedication to innovation and excellence in manufacturing. These two prestigious awards serve not only as a mark of distinction but also as a call to action for further innovation and growth.
Looking ahead, IKE Chairman Chen Qiwen stated:
"This recognition marks a new milestone for IKE. We will continue to drive technological advancements in heat pump drying, aiming to exceed 1 billion RMB in annual sales, deliver more landmark projects, and contribute innovative IKE solutions to the global transition toward a greener, more sustainable future."
